10B is D major
Camelot 10B is D major. Two sharps, F♯ and C♯. Its scale contains all four open violin strings — G, D, A and E — which is why string writing gravitates to it and why it sits easily under a guitar in standard tuning.
What mixes with 10B

Anything further than one step is not a rule you are breaking so much as a judgement you are now making by ear. Two positions away can work; five will fight you.
The scale
D major is spelled D – E – F♯ – G – A – B – C♯.
Its relative minor, B minor, uses the same seven notes starting from B. Same scale, different home note, which is exactly what the letter switch at 10A means.
D major and D minor are not neighbours
The letter switch at 10A does not get you D minor. It gets you B minor — the relative minor, which shares D major's notes but not its tonic.
D minor is a different position entirely: 7A, 3 steps around the ring. Same home note, three accidentals' difference in the key signature — it is always three, for any parallel pair — and far enough apart that the wheel will never suggest one from the other.
That gap is the most common misreading of the whole system. If you want the darker version of the same tonic — D minor under a track in D major — the wheel is not going to hand it to you, and mixing it in is a decision you make with your ears against the rule rather than with it.

Two systems, same wheel, rotated relative to each other. If a library was tagged in one and read in the other, the letters still mean minor and major but the numbers will not line up.
Why a 10B reading can be wrong
The Camelot code comes from the key, so anything that gets the key wrong gets the code wrong — and tuning is where it usually goes wrong.
Material sitting a semitone below concert pitch does not read as 10B at all. It reads as 3B — D♭ major. A semitone the other way reads as 5B — E♭ major. Both are 5 positions away on the ring, not one. A mixing rule built on that code points at the wrong three records, and nothing tells you until something clashes in front of people.
