Who I am
I'm an independent developer in Sweden, and I make DropWave. By installing or using DropWave you agree to these terms. Questions go to hello@getdropwave.com.
Your music stays yours
- I claim no rights in anything you open in DropWave, and none in what you make with it: readings, exports, reports and renamed files are yours.
- Use the readings in your work however you like, released or not, commercial or not. No credit to DropWave is needed.
- Your audio is analysed on your own computer and never uploaded. The privacy policy has the details.
The beta
- The beta is free. Your beta key is personal: one person, on their own computers. Don't share it, sell it or post it.
- It is beta software. Readings can be wrong and builds can have bugs, so check by ear before something important depends on a reading, and keep backups of files you rename.
- I can change the beta, end it, or turn off a key that is shared or misused.
After the beta
Beta keys work while the beta runs. What comes after it, including pricing, hasn't been decided yet. It will be announced in the Discord before the beta ends.
What you can't do
Copy, resell or redistribute DropWave, or reverse engineer, decompile or modify it, except where the law allows it anyway. Don't use it to break the law or anyone's rights.
Feedback
If you send ideas, bug reports or suggestions, I may use them to improve DropWave without owing you anything for them. Thank you for them.
Trademarks
DropWave and the DropWave icon are trademarks of DropWave. Please don't use them in a way that suggests your product is DropWave or is made or endorsed by me. Other names on this site belong to their owners.
No guarantees
DropWave is provided as it is, without warranties, and as far as the law allows I'm not liable for losses that come from using it. Nothing here takes away rights you have as a consumer where you live.
Changes and law
When these terms change, I change this page and the date at the top. Swedish law applies.
